The Garden Rooms

The Garden Rooms at Tennants is a multipurpose venue combining auctions with the arts, education and events. 

The multimillion pound extension to the Leyburn salerooms was completed in December 2014, making Tennants the largest auction house in the UK. The Garden Rooms have allowed us to develop and strengthen the existing auctioneering business, whilst promoting and enhancing culture and the arts in the Yorkshire Dales.

Open seven days a week, The Garden Rooms houses our permanent Display Galleries showcasing highlights of upcoming auctions. 

In addition to the busy auction calendar, we have a popular café, bar & bistro and gift shop on site.  We also host a busy programme of visiting exhibitions, musical and theatrical events as well as talks, workshops and fairs.
