Leading the April Fine Wine and Whisky Sale was a lot of six bottles of Château Margaux 1983 Premier Grand Cru Classe, Margaux, selling for £1,800 (all figures exclude buyer’s premium). Strong prices for fine wines continued with a bottle of Petrus 1996, Pomerol selling for £1,600, and two bottles of Château Lafite Rothschild 1953, Pauillac selling for £750.

Results: Fine Wine & Whisky Sale 23rd April
Amongst an interesting selection of port in the sale were a bottle of Croft 1927 Vintage Port (sold for £300), and a bottle of Noval Nacional 1960 Port (sold for £700).
Highlights of the Whisky section included a bottle of Highland Park 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the Cadenhead’s Authentic Collection and distilled in 1976 (sold for £650), and a bottle of Glenburgie 1967 Signatory Vintage Rare Reserve Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky in its original wooden presentation box with certificate (sold for £450).
