Sarah is the specialist in charge of the Fashion, Costume & Textiles Department and she is also part of the general valuations team.

Shortly after graduating from Northumbria University in 1994, Sarah joined Tennants as a saleroom assistant. Under the guidance of Edmund and Rodney Tennant, Sarah worked her way up to become a general valuer.

As Tennants expanded, Sarah took her love of fabric and textiles and established the specialist Antique Costume and Textiles sales. Sarah has a particular expertise and interest in antique fabrics and needlework and has grown the department over many years, handling many important private collections such as The Castle Howard Collection.
