Francesca is the specialist in charge of Modern and Contemporary Art Sales at Tennants, which she has greatly helped to develop since joining the company in 2013.

Francesca is involved with all aspects of the picture department, but has a particular knowledge and interest in Modern British Art. Throughout her time at Tennants, Francesca has cultivated relationships with various living artists and frequently works closely with artists’ families to sell notable estates such as those of Edith Lawrence, Sally Arnup, Norman Cornish, John Ridgewell and Karl Torok.

Francesca joined Sotheby’s New Bond Street in 2006 where she was primarily involved with the sales of Prints, British Pictures and Photographs. Prior to joining Tennants, Francesca worked at The Bowes Museum, Barnard Castle.
