A new exhibition featuring old photographs of the Dales will open on 17th January at The Garden Rooms at Tennants, Leyburn. Residents of the Dales and beyond have contributed fascinating photographs from the 1940s to 1990s, capturing snapshots of Dales life throughout the decades. From 1950s aerial views of towns and villages to fairs, shows and farming life predominantly around Wensleydale.
The exhibition will also include a display of fascinating photographs from Tennants Auctioneers’ own history.
The free exhibition is open daily until 12th February. All the photographs have been enlarged for ease of viewing.
