Exclusive Previews of the November Fine Jewellery, Watches & Silver Sale

Join Tennants' specialists as they share their highlights of the upcoming Fine Jewellery, Watches and Silver Sale. In this engaging series of three talks, each specialist will discuss the highlights and share their favourite lots from November’s auction. Whether you're a seasoned collector or simply curious, each talk will offer fascinating insights, and an exclusive preview of the exceptional pieces set to go under the hammer.

Each talk will be preceded by an optional behind the scenes tour of the Salerooms and will be followed by a two-course seasonal lunch served in the Bistro.

Tickets £38 to include a catalogue, £45 to include the tour.

Watches with Adam Wasdell, Wostep, MBHI

 


Adam has more than 25 years’ experience as a watch specialist. Adam joined Tennants in 2003 after completing the Watchmaker of Switzerland Education Programme which is regarded as the highest qualification in Swiss watchmaking.

Thursday 7 November

Jewellery with Jessica Fall, BSc(Hons), FGA, DGA and Sarah Hardy L.L.B. (Hons) PJ.Dip. FGA DGA

 

Jessica is a Fellow of the Gemmological Association in 2021, and in 2022 completed her DGA, passing with distinction. She was also awarded the Bruton Medal, for best candidate of the year, and the Deeks Diamond Prize.

Sarah joined Tennants in 2007 and was Head of the Jewellery Department until going on maternity leave in 2016. Returning as Consultant for the department, Sarah holds a Professional Jeweller’s Diploma and a Diploma in Gemmology; she is a Fellow of the Gemmological Association and gained her Diamond Diploma in 2013 with distinction.

Friday 8 November

Silver & Objects of Vertu with Jeffrey Lassaline

Jeffery joined Tennants in 2019, bringing with him over 25 years’ experience working with the Fine and Decorative Arts. Prior to joining Tennants, Jeffrey was Christie’s King Street Senior Silver Specialist and Director.

Jeffrey is a Freeman of both the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and the City of London, a member of the Silver Society, and Honorary member of Contemporary British Silversmiths and a founding member of the Silver Society of Canada.

The Fine Jewellery, Watches & Silver Sale (16 November) will be on public view from Sunday 10 November to Friday 15 November 11am-4pm and the morning of the sale from 8am
