The Toys and Collectables Department is renowned for its wealth of experience and knowledge in the field and the popular sales, held three times a year, have developed a strong following amongst collectors. Toys and Collectables Sales at Tennants include:

• Model Trains, including antique and modern trains covering all gauges from z-gauge to gauge 1 and beyond
• Railwayana
• Live Steam
• Vintage Toys
• Diecast models, including Dinky, Corgi and Matchbox
• Model Kits
• Memorabilia from the world of film and music
• Vintage advertising ephemera

The department specialises in handling private collections of Toys and Collectables, and is regularly appointed to sell specialist collections of model trains, a particular area of expertise for the department. Private collections are handled with care and discretion, and the department works hand in hand with the Garden Rooms team to display private collections in our galleries ahead of sale.

The specialist is able to advise you on all aspects of buying and selling Toys and Collectables at auction and current market values, and offer professional valuations for insurance and probate.
